London and then onto Bath

19.April
So this morning Erica and I got up and packed our stuff and checked out. First thing we did was do the Hop-on-Hop off bus tour. It was fun to be on a double decker bus. The weather was a little colder today, so it was a little cold to be on top. So we rode around London and we had a live guide that would explain things as we passed them.
We hoped off at Buckingham Palace to see the changing of the guard, but since it is spring they only do it every other day. So it wasn't going to be taking place today. However since the Queen was celebrating her birthday on Friday there was a raffle where people that shared her exact birthday were picked to come and have lunch with her. The Queen was supposed to be showing up any time. We wanted to hang around and see if we could see her, but it turned out she wasn't going to be there until 12:30 and we didn't want to wait an hour. So we caught the bus and cruised around some more. Then we jumped off and got on the boat tour at Westminster Pier (it was included in our bus ticket). Here is a picture of Erica and me

The boat tour was fun and we were able to see a lot of cool stuff. After that we jumped back on the bus and went to the British Museum. It was pretty cool. They had the Rosetta Stone which was way cool to see, and then also a bunch of stuff from Egyptian, Assyrian and Greek artifacts.
After that we headed back to the hostel to get our bags and head to Bath. Erica took the train and I took the bus. Erica got there before me, so we just planned to meet up later.
